  • Advance Care Planning: The importance of advance care planning, including understanding living wills, advance directives, and the role of the healthcare team in honouring these plans.
  • Emotional and Psychological Support: Providing emotional support to individuals and their families, including recognising and addressing grief, loss, and bereavement.
  • Ethical and Legal Considerations: Overview of the ethical and legal issues surrounding end of life care, including consent, decision-making, and palliative care guidelines.
